Thursday, June 30th, 1 p.m. CT (Zoom webinar)
Take a midday break for a virtual, 45-minute field trip with our friends at Lincoln’s Home, a historic site. The tour looks into the Lincoln family during the seventeen years they lived in the house on the corner of Eighth and Jackson Streets. Participants will get a glimpse into Lincoln’s life as a family man and explore his rise as a successful lawyer and politician through the context of the Lincoln Home.
Virtual Voyages are 45-minute, online field trips designed to provide a behind-the-scenes experience and ideas for your next trip in real life. Each program will orient you to a different historic place, share stories onsite, and offer information on what’s new to explore, with time for audience Q&A.
