Portraits of past Lincoln Leadership Prize recipients Archbishop Desmond Tutu, The Little Rock Nine and Neil DeGrasse Tyson from the Foundation’s collection were on display as part of an exhibit at Springfield and Central Illinois African American History Museum. The exhibit, which opened in May 2022, was extended through August 31, 2023. The Foundation established the Lincoln Leadership Prize in 2006 to recognize exceptional individuals for their service in the Lincoln tradition.
