"Warning Signs: Lincoln's Response to the Rising Tensions in the 1850s" explores national events in the pre-Civil War period (1849-1860). The films feature noted experts on historical events and politics and thematic lesson plans designed by award-winning educators to promote inquiry and historical literacy. They explore crucial evidence, historical context, and different perspectives about an extremely polarized moment in U.S. history and what it reveals about maintaining a healthy democracy today. "Warning Signs" has won a Mid-America Emmy from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and three national awards, including Gold and Silver Telly Awards and an Award of Distinction from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts in New York.

“Fortifying Our Democracy: Lincoln’s Lyceum Address" explores the alarming events that motivated Lincoln to deliver his speech, the timeless argument for investing in civic education, and the dangers of taking our political institutions for granted. This newest short, three-part documentary series, released in the fall of 2023, has received four prestigious awards: Silver and Bronze Awards in the history and education categories from the Telly Awards and two Awards of Excellence in the Communicator Awards, judged and curated by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) in New York.  The series features expert storytelling and compelling visuals and delves into Abraham Lincoln's powerful political ideas and their relevance to the challenges facing our nation today.
