We’re inviting Midwest students ages 14-22 to unleash their creativity and tell compelling stories about the places they call home. With the theme “On This Land,” this contest encourages youth filmmakers to explore and share stories rooted in their local geography, history, and culture.

🎥 Submit a 5-8 minute short film by January 31, 2025 for the chance to:
🏆 Win cash prizes ranging from $500 to $2,000 across three age brackets.
🌟 Have your film premiere at a red-carpet event in Chicago in 2025.

Whether students create a brand-new project or submit a film they’ve already made, this contest offers a way to connect creativity with history—all with no entry fee!
