Dr. Catherine Clinton, author of such notable works as the award-winning Harriet Tubman: The Road to Freedom and Mrs. Lincoln: A Life, which at publication was the first new biography of Mary Lincoln in over 20 years.   Catherine Clinton holds the Denman Chair of American History at the University of Texas in San Antonio and is Professor Emerita at Queen’s University Belfast.
